There aren't any really heavy effects or palette changes here, because 1. ![]() Keeping in line with my personal preferences, this preset is designed to make what I would consider desirable, if subtle, changes to the game's visuals without any serious thematic changes, making it a rather friendly "addendum" to most lighting mods out there. It seemed like they just ramped up vibrance in an effort to emulate proper lighting mods (which SweetFX most definitely is not) and threw an arbitrary amount of sharpening on top. as an actual lighting mod, but its ability to easily tweak brightness and contrast-things unreasonably difficult to adjust in The Sims 3- made it massively appealing for me to use, but I was unsatisfied with the few presets out there already. It can't be used to make the same comprehensive changes to color ramps, fog, etc. It allows easy control over contrast, brightness, saturation, gamma and color balance while also offering some basic effects like bloom, pseudo-HDR, sharpening, and anti-aliasing. For the unfamiliar, SweetFX is a versatile, easily-customizable shader suite compatible with a wide variety of games.
